Man, I suck at posting regularly. Although I guess it doesn't really matter; it's not like anyone is reading this. So, a few little updates. I'm watching season five of Buffy, which is interesting. Dawn bothers me a lot.
I also recently discovered for myself the TV show Psych. James Roday is absolutely hilarious, and the show is so well written. Every episode, I am doubled over with laughter.
So that's about it for now...

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I've been busy. Not much has changed, but some things are different. I went to Girls Rock and Roll Retreat, which is always fun. I met some really cool people, and have a lot more confidence in my singing ability now. Plus, I can be a Junior Counselor next year, which is super cool.
I also started to read some more Chuck Palahniuk books. They're very adult, but I can get beyond some of that stuff to enjoy their literary worth. I recently read Snuff, which is a novel about a record-breaking porn film. There was a lot of disgusting sexual stuff in the book that I could have done without, but it all was relevant to the book (not just fanservice) and there was a lot of worth beyond it. It was good, but very strange. When you finish one of his books, you get this strange feeling that is basically your brain saying, "What the hell just happened?"

Shameless Plug
So I'm sittin' here at YRU-UP, and I found some extra time on my hands. So I decided that I would reference something, and then tell you about it. Step one: complete. YRU-UP is a public access show in Bloomington, MN. It's primarily a call in show, with skits from the current and previous casts. The show has been around for seventeen years, and it's run by high schoolers. I've been a cast member for about five months now, and I love it. The show is on at 12:30 on Friday nights, hence the name. But if you don't live in Bloomington, there is live webstreaming, so you can watch it on your computer. We also have a website. If you find yourself up that late on a Friday night, try watching. You just might enjoy it!

I should start a combination book club/fight club. We would pick a book, talk about it, and afterward, we would beat the crap out of each other. This would provide an easy alibi when someone asks where you're going (book club,) and could satisfy mind and body. We could even talk about the book while we're pounding the shit out of each other. Of course our first book wouldn't be fight club. Too obvious. Who wants to join a book club? That sounds boring. But a book club/fight club? Instant entertainment.

It's a Gas that Frankie's Landed!
Yesterday, my entire world changed. That's right, I saw ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. I sat in my basement, in complete and total awe of how original and interesting it was. Almost every song filled me with joy and adoration. I know that it is a bit cliche to be a Rocky Horror groupie, but it was so fantastic! Meatloaf was great, but I was disappointed that he was on for such a short time. Other than Meatloaf, I had heard of Susan Sarandon and Tim Curry. Susan Sarandon, circa Rocky Horror, looks exactly like Jayma Mays, from Glee. Take a look: http://www.thegreat70s.com/images/movies/Janet.jpg http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2009-04/46443477.jpg The best fansite is http://www.rockyhorror.com/

Cursed!
I think this is the beginning of a season-long curse for celebrities. First McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson, and now Billy Mays. It's abnormal for that many A through D list celebrities to die in the course of a few days. What if some TMZ reporter who didn't have any stories laid a voodoo curse just so he/she would have something to report?
If the curser is really on top of this, we'll start seeing things happen to the tabloid cash cows. They won't die, because then the tabloids would have nothing to cover. Things will just start happening. Jon and Kate Gosselin, Megan Fox, etc. will have a lot of trouble on their hands.
This is all I will write about these, to avoid becoming like every other blog on the net.

Re-Entering the Blogosphere
Hey, Blogosphere. I'm back. I know that I haven't seen you in, oh, say 108 weeks. I guess you might not miss me. Hell, you might not remember me. I didn't get to know you very well last time. But I'm back now, and I hope we can become great friends. You better not try and make a pass at me like you did last time, though.
Sorry if this is boring, it just seemed dumb to talk about something else in the same post. Yeah, sit tight though, it'll get better.
